Event Details:	NNA EARLY SPRING MEETING 3.23.10 The Newport Neighborhood Association ("NNA") invites you to our EARLY SPRING Meeting on TUESDAY nite, March 23rd at 7:45 pm. The meeting will be held on the fifth floor of the University of Phoenix' Newport campus located at 100 Town Square Place just outside the Pavonia PATH station. The meeting will start promptly at 7:45 pm with PIZZA and a short meet & greet. Second, the NNA will hold our annual elections of the New Officer & Board team so come vote. Third, a representative from the 2010 CENSUS will be there to discuss positions working on the CENSUS here in Newport so hear about these excellent job opportunities. Fourth, we're organizing a team to advocate in support of the NNA parking initiative before the City Council so come sign up for the March 24th City Council hearing. Fifth, we will discuss NNA agenda issues that include: i) the status of the NNA goal of a public park on the Port Authority pier, The NNA has a few major announcements to report, including the new NNA Lounge, the Business-use library and the NNA Monthly Cooking Class so come hear the news! Seventh, the NNA Festival DVD is NOW available to members so come pick up your copy of the DVD which captures all the dynamic performances, including Motown Recording star and Newport resident N'Kenge and fellow resident Brady!! Eighth, we're organizing a team for the next NNA Social Event, the NNA Spring Social at Michael Anthony's restaurant. So mark your calendar now and join us Tuesday nite, March 23rd at 7:45 PM!!
